May the force be with you.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.”  ~Albert Einstein

I’m no Einstein but I believe we are all part of this creative force which I call the universe.  I believe this universe, some may call it God or Love, is not personally involved with every aspect of our lives, and by that I mean that God does not interfere with our free will.  I do not mean that we are not loved.  We are perfect creative spirits who are well-loved.  In fact, we are love.  We have been given great power to control our own lives and for an external God to interfere would be unfair to our growth and personal creativity.  Most religions tell us that we are created in the image of God.  God (the universe, the higher self, Goddess) is THE CREATIVE FORCE!  Therefore we are a creative force to be reckoned with!  God is everywhere, s/he is in everything, s/he is omnipresent, and omniscient, s/he always was and always will be.   Sounds like the definition of energy to me.  What do you think?  In the old days physics and creativity were not understood, so these concepts were explained as much as they could be with myth and metaphor.  They were shrouded in language more comprehensible for that time.  You are a part of this energy that has been called God.  You are connected to all of this energy and have access to its power and abundance.

Many religions have very similar themes.  Prominent among them is the idea that what you give you also receive; the Eastern belief in karma, proclaimed in Christianity as “whatever ye sow, so shall ye reap.”  Put out good energy, get good energy back!  Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is within.  He said, ask and ye shall receive, knock and the door will be opened, seek and ye shall find.  He also told his disciples that they would not understand what he meant for a long time.  Maybe the time has come.  I believe he was telling them of their incredible, infinite creative power and their connectedness to source (God, Universe. Love).

State your desires and have faith, believe your positive thoughts will manifest as positive results.  “And all things, whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.”  This is from Matthew in the New Testament.  I’m not expounding on these religious quotes because I am a religious person, but to show that this is not a new paradigm.  The idea of creating your life through your thoughts is an ancient belief and practice.  If you look at Jesus’ words alone you will see how prevalent the concepts of faith, belief, and manifestation are in his teachings.  Water to wine.  He was the ultimate manifestor.  You may counter this statement with the argument that he died on the cross and you would be remiss if you didn’t ask why he didn’t prevent his own death.

“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”  -Albert Einstein

Jesus knew that this world was an illusion.  He knew there is no such thing as death.  He came back, didn’t he?  If this world is an illusion, and so persistent that we don’t have the capacity to escape from it at this point in our spiritual evolution, then it might as well be a beautiful illusion!  Make your world beautiful.  Make your world the world you desire!  Use positive, abundance affirming thoughts and visualizations to change your world.

Use the following affirmations to increase the positive energy you send into the universe.  Say them with feeling.  Say them with faith.  Say them with strength of conviction.  The positive emotions you produce when you say the affirmations, the pictures you visualize of the life you desire as you say the affirmations multiply the positive energetic effects of the affirmations!
